Why do you think insurance is so much more for younger drivers. They are proven to be more accident prone than every other demographic.

a few years back there was talk of moving the legal driving age up to 18, which i felt was a good idea....as that'd pretty much get rid of all high school drivers. maybe things are a bit different in the midwest, or elsewhere...but here in SoCal you hear about 4 high schoolers killed in a late night driving accident quite often.
