yes I'll play it casual, that was my initial idea. To be honest we've played it casual for a while now.. it's tiring.

I was just skeptical about making the first "obvious" move, in regards of the fact most of my ex boyfriends used to do it.

In any event, I wouldn't worry about the approach. Just ask him if he wants to get together next weekend. Keep it casual, but just say you don't have any plans and wanted to see if he wanted to do something. Let the conversation go from there.

I hate to have to answer 'no' to this question, but... no. I've never asked a guy out. I've been the first to admit I was interested in a few situations, but always left the asking part up to them.

I don't know why, exactly. I'm not big on dating in the first place. I'd really rather just be friends with a person first, and have romance develop through casual hanging-out-type situations. I have serious doubts as to whether or not I ever will ask someone out. Maybe someday. *shrug*

BY the way, I have been asked out a number of times, but more often I am dropped hints or told by a third party to ask her out.

Personally, nothing is more of a turn on than when a chick directly asks me out. It can even elevate someone I might consider going out with to someone I definitely want to go out with.

We've gone out a few times. Not together, but to work functions and such. Whenever she's with me, she always jokes about all of the girls I'm dating, and how she wishes she was on that list. Joking of course. She always tries to touch me. If only to brush up on me. It's really cute to notice that it's on purpose and premeditated. Personally, I'd like to keep it a friendship thing. I wouldn't mind some kisses though.
