Question Whatcha bench?

I loved that SNL skit.

The last time I benched my max was back in 9th grade and I was at 160. I have no idea what it is now, but I'm about twice as muscular as I was then so I imagine around 200 or so if I actually wanted gains.

Yeah I have an idea that my shoulders will go if I test them very much, one of them pops a lot so I've stayed away from lifting close to my max.

I got it up to 255 before I stoped lifting consistantly... my little bro is now at 310 (he's 165lbs)

bench max really doesn't mean anything

Last summer I benched 120

I almost died after that, I'm such a weakling.

I bench live grizzly bears, I don't know how much they weigh.

Is the cat of doom from an Inspector Gadget movie sequel?

in high school (a long long time ago...5 years):

1. bench 235 (and i died afterward and then came back to life to never bench more than 230 ever again)...just looking at those 2 45-lb weights on each side made me so fucking nervous (that's 225, for all you amateurs)
2. clean 230 (barely)
3. squat 405 (my best lift by far b/c i'm short - still quite intimidating with 4 45-lb weights on each side of the bar)
4. dead lift 530 (that's nuts)

anyway, now i could bench about 135 if i'm lucky b/c i suck big time

Yea, i never got back up to 255 after I got it.

I squatted 520 and then stopped because it really hurt my back (or squat max's have to be 3 times in a row before they count)

I never cleaned anyting significant because I could never get under the bar.

I weight 165 and am 5'8"

Considering I don't weigh an ounce over 130, I don't think it's too bad. I don't really bench, anyway. I prefer pushups.
