Edit: The purpose of whining is simply for attention and sympathy. The only difference is that men will tolerate it from women but not from other men.

Partly, yes. Partly because there are ways to combat the pain that don't cost $5,000. Reductions aren't a sure fire thing either, some times the doc fucks it up. Go ahead, google it. But mostly because I'm bored and I feel like taking on an entire gender.

I dunno... seems to me that men do a little better job at bearing pain then women. I'm not saying that women go through LESS pain, but in my experience men deal with it with less "whining."

granted, that is true, but there really aren't very many options, lose weight, get the right sized bra... working out and strengthening your back, from what i've heard really jsut doesn't change anything (though I do not have refrences .. i think i heard it on Oprah.. :erm i also hate oprah..).. what other suggestions are there?

live with the pain? or take that chance to get rid of it? back pain is a terrible thing, and it can lead to worse back problems later.

almost every woman suffers from cramps at some time, some people have debitlitating cramps, and i really never heard girls whine about back pain, except for here, where there is no whining, more asking suggestions to help fix it.

thing is, the girls feel the pain much more often so of course you'll hear that more often..

nevermind. yes, many girls are annoyingly whiney. but some of us rarely whine and it's annoying to be told "why do girls always whiiiiinne!?!?!?!" ...

I've never heard of a woman being anything other than thrilled with the outcome of a breast reduction. And, it's not considered cosmetic, in most situations insurance will cover it. Sometimes it actually CAN be 5 - 10lbs of tissue removed. Why would someone not have the procedure done if it meant making every day life less physically painful? When you have huge boobs and you lay on your back, you feel like you're literally going to suffocate. Why would you want to live with that?

And as for the whole girls/pain thing.. okay, the "being hit in the nuts" thing was a good argument, but does that happen monthly, sometimes for up to two weeks? If it does, I'm sorry. I'd have to say period cramps and labor pains have to be some of the post painful things in the world. Aren't period cramps like mini-labor pains, anyway?
