Post A useless piece of trivia regarding 04/11/00

If you have the recording or have glanced at the setlist for this gig, you may well be aware that Billy teased Boys Don't Cry by The Cure.... well, the reason for this may be because Robert Smith was in attendance that night. Whilst waiting round the back gates after the concert, myself and 2 or 3 friends were the only people left outside and we saw him get into a rather classy car and was driven off with his wife in tow.

Well yeah I did say it was pointless.

Talking

That's right R.Smith was there.
It was pretty impressing to see Billy and Robert talking backstage... great moment.
Billy came late at the after show, at first he signed some autographs, talked to some nice japanese fans and us, and then talked to Robert.

There was also the girl on the Cover of Adore, Graham Coxon (Blur) and a bunch of other people.

The after show took place in a bar in a room next to the stage... for once Earl was really really nice.

See, your story was believable, up until you had to throw that in.

i wish they would have had some decent merchandise left, and not only this bootlegged stuff from outside the venue....and of course the aftershow would have been nice too....speaking of aftershow encounters: a few weeks ago i rushed into the irthday party of heather nova at an austrian festival...this was nice too...

Eheh ; )
Earl was such a bastard at first... but once you try to get close to him (you have to ask him about his kids) he can be nice, which is strange...

Earl rocks my socks off. He was nice the two times I (barely) talked to him...he told everyone in line not to litter and pick their trash up, too...major points there http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/biggrin.gif . I wish we knew what he was up to.
