Being Baptists automatically qualifies you to be conservative? I disagree.

I was raised in a Catholic church, and most definitely am not conservative. Of course, I am not a practicing Baptist anymore, but nevertheless.

It also depends on what sect of Baptist's you are referring to. There are Southern, New Age, Fellowship, Missionary, Standard, etc. Southern are definitely the most conservative out of the lot.

But yea, that'd be kinda like someone calling any random German a Nazi.

um. listen. i'm not in the mood to go into it but i've made plenty of posts dealing with all the people in my school that are friends with my roommate and that i hang out with more or less and that live in my hall and how they sit around liberal bashing all the time and say 'ew democrat' and use the word 'liberal' as if it's synonomous with 'devil-worshipper' and you can't say the word 'tax' without them shrinking back in horror but nevermind. thanks for thinking you know what i'm talking about when you don't though!

um. well i certainly wouldn't call it a conservative show. and it definitely has a liberal edge to it. even though i SORT OF TRIED TO SAY IN MY FIRST POST THAT I WOULDN'T CALL IT LIBERAL EITHER BECAUSE JON STEWART IS TOO COOL TO BE LIBERAL DO YOU NOT FUCKING READ? and you don't know these people. nevermind. jesus fucking christ. does no one understand what the fuck i talk about anymore? you can't understand why the daily show would be objectionable to a hard-ass dubya-worshiping republican? jee golly i feel sorry for you.

I was just referring to the method you putting "Baptist" in front of "roommate" to make it an adjetive, which describes your roommate, which means your roommate is behaving a certain way solely because of her religious beliefs.

I haven't read all about your roommates, but that doesn't mean I can't comment on your choice of wording.

Yes/No.

no because i live in virginia, the land of jerry falwell and you're not going to find many liberal baptists around here and the fact that i *know* her political views more or less perfectly enables me to use whichever adjective i want, considering i wasn't prejudging her views, i already know them and chose the word 'baptist' over 'republican' or 'crazy' or 'conservative' because i thought it fits better. she won't cuss. she says 'what in the crap' all the time which i think defeats the purpose. there's nothing wrong with my choice of wording. it's obvious from the context i used that her being a baptist had something to do with her probably disapproving of my show. i felt the same way saturday when i was watching snl.
