Album of the year.Katatonia-viva emptiness.

I am glad to announce katatonia as one of the best bands on the planet. Their latest album "viva emptiness" is a classsic and it looks like a winner this year. It is a pleasure to listen to Jonas's voice and the guitar work shows the influence of both Paradise Lost and Beyound dawn. Reading lately, katatonia have been listening to Tool 24/7, they make it quite clear that this is possitively the truth. They have cut down on the leads but the shocking guitar effects and harmonic vocals make-up for it.

From start to finish, this album makes me "cry" with disbelief. It's just too darn good!

Hmm. I was going to say that sounded like way too much of an advertisement to think you're not only here to promote the band, but you have 28 posts.

no way will it top the new verbena and starlight mints albums. those are going to be on top all year. yes, they're that good.

I'd pick it up, but I already have to pick up the new Nasum and Dying Fetus discs this tuesday.
