4/10 - arab strap/bright eyes

ehh. pretty disappointing on both ends. arab strap were boring and umm had made their "sound" really fucking stupid for a live setting. it went from being normal electronic arab strap to just, uh, an acoustic guitar, violin, cello and voice. and the occasional drum machine. it fucking pissed me off, actually.

bright eyes were equally bad, but in their own way. they actually livend things up a bit when he, uh, was rockin' out. but really, other than, he had little-to-no stage presence whatsoever. at least the arab strap guy told stories about "the biggest cock he's ever seen" when THEIR guitar string broke.

anyhow, it was worth $15 for entertainment and a nice night out
