If this was a 13 year old boy, then it is true that people would talk shit and NOONE would really care. I'll admit I've been trying to stay out of this, and I haven't been up-to-date on all of this...but have you failed to think about this:

People post about the littlest things that happen in their everyday life, what the weathers like, their new glasses, haircuts, clothing and pets. People come here and post about a new movie they saw, a job interview they've had. So why shouldn't she be able to post something that's obviously a major life-changing event? This is obviously something thats a little more serious than a new pair of glasses and logically would deserve responses a little more serious than what you would post in the "my new glasses" thread. Which is why you should keep your mouth shut if you don't give a shit.

Also, Eric, you make a post about your new haircut, and a picture of your girlfriend, for instance. Hardly something that these people who are "not real" would actually care about. They make comments about your girlfriend, her dsl, and call her a drunken whore. You get upset and start a fight over it.

My point being, you're being totally contradictory. Obviously these e-opinions matter somewhat. Its not like us saying your girlfriend is ugly is going to make you feel any less for your girlfriend, but you are upset because you post something here in hopes that people will respond in a positive way and pride you on your beautiful girlfriend. When they don't, you get upset. Now for whatever reasons, these e-opinions do affect you, and just like negative opinions would affect someone on this messageboard, positive ones do, too.

It doesn't make anyone less of an intelligent human being to enjoy hearing soothing or positive words from another person. It makes us human. It doesn't matter if this is a message board. Behind these keyboards and monitors, we're human beings with feelings and emotions (most of us). To know that someone else cares about you is a good feeling, just because you've never felt that feeling before doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

i'm alright, i suppose. i stayed with alecia on saturday night, i didn't sleep too well. i spent some time with my family then went to my sister's boyfriend's house with her. i spent the night there, had a slight breakdown before bed, then fell asleep. started crying again before school in the english room, my friends lori and marla stole a box of kleenex from a classroom for me. whenever someone asked what was wrong, i told them, but i didn't particularily like to. it was weird saying it. my science teacher (who is also a good friend) gave me some chocolate to 'help me feel better'. third hour i tried to call my mom to bring me home, i didn't feel like i could be in school anymore, but no one answered so i just went back to class. it went on like that for the rest of the day. i got an insane ammount of hugs. it was really strange, i'm a very affectionate person normally, but i dion't want anyone to touch me now. i always imagined it being the total oposite.

First of all, my condolences. It is certainly not an easy thing to go through.

As for the actual method, he died of carbon monoxide poisoning, which basically means the CO replaced O2 in the blood's hemoglobin (an oxygen transporter) and, since O2 didn't get to the necessary tissues (esp. the brain), the process suffocated him.
The only reason I'm telling you this is because it is a very painless way to go apparently, so at least he didn't suffer.
