Question

Yo, what do babies think of when they're in the womb anyway? it must get really boring. "Do do do do do. Ahhh, that day was productive, got some good floating in there. Gotta try some floating reps tomorrow."

I always thought it was boredom that caused labor. The kid is like "FUCK THIS SHIT, I NEED TO GET OUT FOR SOME AIR!!!"

hahhaha.

me and my buddy were having a conversation about this, like, when we got back from a Zwan show in T.O. or something. The creepy part about that movie is that the babies can talk to each other. Say what?! does it imply that babies are all psychic and can read each other's minds?!

I think they should make LWT4 and reveal that Kristie Allie is really an alien-human hybrid and populating the world with psychic babies on her way to WORLD DOMINATION! It could be a prequel to Battlefield Earth and cross over two crappy movie franchises into one.

Of course the convergence of two such crappy movie franchises would probably create a rip in the space time continum to which all matter would flow?

But what is matter?

Doesn't matter.

What is mind?

Nevermind.

. . .

uh . . .

Name the kid Ava.

I don't mean to sound totally rude, but it doesn't surprise me she's pregnant, it really doesn't.

I don't see how my life is "fucked up." I may be young, but I'm very good friends with the father. We chose not to stay together b/c we had some issues and we didn't want to be together just b/c we were having a baby. we'd rather be happy and apart than miserable and together. i've been on birth control for about four years, so I can honestly say it was quite a surprise for me, too. I debated getting an abortion, i thought about adoption, but after four months of thinking it through i still couldn't make up my mind. i told my mom and she's helping me tremendously.
i'm going to a university right now and this summer i'm moving back in with my parents, who are turning their upper level into an apartment for me. my mom is going to watch the baby while i go to school during the day b/c my parents want, more than anything, to see me finish college.
so i have loving parents and a college education and i'm healthy and i don't do drugs or drink or even smoke cigarettes. DOH I AM SUCH A FUCKUP!

and if you're going to go on to say that my future will be fucked up permanently, you're wrong again. it'll be different, yes, in the sense that i can't go out and get wasted, but i don't see that as a bad thing really.
my mom had a baby when she was my age and look at her now - she's a beautiful, happy 43 year old woman married to a doctor and we live in a nice neighborhood (so nice it's been featured in CNN and in a 40-page TIME magazine article) and she runs two businesses that she completely started from scratch out of her home. she must be hating her life, huh?

i guess i'm trying to 'enlighten' him to the possibility that different people value different things, and while to some people, this might be fucking up their lives, i've pretty much got everything going for me and therefore, am not fucking up my life. but i do appreciate his concern. bitter as it may be.

man... your poor parents. i couldn't imagine raising kids and then you think you're more or less done and one of them wants you to babysit it. oh well, maybe they're not all as cold and callous as I. I guess some people like bending over backwards and helping kids? I dunno.

You know what? I don't know why I said what I said. I was way off base. I don't know what possessed me to say what I said, probably poor taste, but I'm sorry if I upset you.

I just think people should be more honest with themselves. For example, you're an nerdy fat girl who had an internet boyfriend for two years.

Oh ok. Kinda like how you're a worthless loser who's going nowhere, hasn't ever (even though, you're HOW old) and will never get laid (without paying), can't even keep an ACTUAL internet girlfriend (much less a real one), who has absolutely NO room to be calling anyone fat... right? I get it!

Your news is outdated.

I am, however, still fat. But like I said, I'm honest with myself.

Just so you don't get the wrong idea here, I was planning on staying in Columbia and doing this on my own. My mom wants me to move back home and she wants to babysit my child. I feel bad about it but it's what she'd prefer. And besides, she loves me.

Since i'm the newbie i cant say i know much about what's going on except that regardless of how you feel about teen pregnancy, you cant let that push respect to worthlessness. As much as you agree or disagree with what's going on in her life, saying negative things doesn't help anything and just makes whoever says it look like an ass.

I'm sure everything'll work out, and nice pic btw.

Yes, yes, well I'm all about giving positive reinforcement to people who make thoughtless descions, but let's get back to the point here... how many STDs will this baby be born with?

I'm saying 3, but I'm not including any that she gets during the pregnency.

You forget that something that is 'thoughtful' is all subjective. One could argue that by getting pregnant early she gets more years to spend with a baby that she'll love rather than someone who waits til they're 30 or 40 to. You cant stick something as opinionated as that to be factual. While i dont agree with what happened, the fact of the matter is that she's looking after herself and the baby and if anything its better to support her (even if she made a thoughtless decision by your standards) as to not make the situation worse, which would be truly thoughtless.
