Default We need to talk about how metal this I Am One is

it's blistering fucking fast, the new tom intro fucking rips my skull in two. and not to mention it goes STRAIGHT from the last notes of Rocket into that. amazing

This version is what was on the Lost Tapes show on Vieuphoria, it's cool but I wouldn't be happy if this was the I Am One I got at a show.

agree. it would be much better if the last reentry chorus was the standard big guitar rock version

a lot of cool live stuff is only really fun when you go back as a nerd thing. like those 30 minute silverfucks after 3 encores; i'd just be tired

It shows the potential of the band. They could play anything any style if they wanted

Jimmy is just the best. And it always cracks me up how blatantly irritated D’Arcy gets when Billy does the rant in the middle of this song. There was a video where she got so fed up she just quit playing and sat down.

Really? I always heard they had tried playing this in rehearsal as ska but got too scared and had to stop

I was watching a video this days but I can't find it anymore. It was a mix of live parts off different shows. There was one but where Billy says something like "Hey! What happened to the bass!?". They stop playing whatever they were playing start rating between them and Darcy is like "what happened!? Why did you stop!?". Billy completely ignores her. The video ends there. I'd love to find it again or even the whole thing.

I redid this show (I think from a master dump/clone) sorta recently. 60fps option/deshaked/etc. Should start at "I am One"

Check out: James goes off at the end of that show (skip to 1hr18min30s) - "Yea you motherfuckers!" etc etc

....

If there has EVER been a more appropriate time for a "God Bless you for doing the Lord's Work, Copperpot" than right now, I can't recall it.

I mean, compare those two videos. First is unwatchable. Second is better than many concert DVDs that bands from the 90s released.

But, yes, that I Am One is hot. Will have to watch the rest of this show soon.

SP1 was the most special band I’ve ever heard. SP2 is boring as fuck.

well spotted. sounds quite strange and twangy in the intro and outro.

compare that to the cool japanese guitar from the 60s that he usually used for Mayonaise
