There's also the potential for it to change your character altogether, allowing for a second season built entirely around you in the event that there is nowhere else to go with the protagonist from the first.

I imagine that if I were to die saving lives in some disaster or foiling a terrorist plot, I could finally be ended without any of the stigma or familial disappointment of committing suicide, and also would at least posthumously receive validation, commendation, and attention from my peers and society.

It's a little disappointing every time I go to a mall and there isn't some mass-schooting attempt.
