Somebody gave us a huge bag of lemons once, and my boyfriend and brother launched 'Operation Lemon'. They squashed the lemons to make them all juicy and pulpy inside, then carefully cut them in half. They'd spend 10 minutes looking for the perfect target through the blinds, then one of them would lift the blind and the other one would hurl the lemon at the target before the other lowered the blind split seconds later.

Your building manager may have made himself a target by looking like an asshole....that was certainly the criteria during Operation Lemon.

The idea that some poor ten year old would come to the window and get blamed would have horrified us all I think.

I'm sorry to hear about your poor cats. I don't know that I'd ever been on the 8th floor of anything, at 10 years old. That must have been heartbreaking

Oh wow, lemon shooting sounds rad hahaha. We only did water balloons or eggs (eggs were more of a last day of school prank thing tho)

And yeah, losing those cats was traumatic, I still remember one of them managed to climb the stairs for 2 floors before he died, trying to get back home.
