i'm good at buying gifts - that's a thing. and i don't fret about whether i should get presents for everyone i expect to see. and tim and i just don't care or get excited for xmas the way we do thanksgiving. that's our jam high holiday.

i only buy for immediate family, best friend, tim, and nephew. not even my nephew's sister who is only his half sister and i don't know her one bit, anyway.

i don't go back to work until wednesday, january 3rd. the office is closed christmas day and new years day, which both fall on monday. and i never work tuesdays.

so i only asked to for the wednedsay, thursday, and friday after xmas thus making my vacation long as shit. i'm gonna have so much work to do, though. :[

I've been digging into a lot of Italian horror as of late, a subgenre I've previously slept on. Black Sunday just arrived and I'm waiting for Fulci's Zombie. I also got the 4-Disc Ultimate Edition of Romero's Dawn Of The Dead (which I've seen dozens of times already) for $5, so that was cool.

I usually go through a month or so twice per year where I dig on nothing but horror. But this has been going on since late July of this year. Don't know what that's all about, but I've watched an obscene amount of horror movies this year. And lots of stuff I had never seen before.
