What do you guys think of Donald Trump pardoning that African-American grandma in her 60s who had a life sentence due to a drug related offense? The "racist monster" has a heart after all hey?

Touching to see this beautiful family reunited and nice to see Trump using his position of power to right incredulous violations of justice.

while it's good she was pardoned, the problem is the entire system. it shouldn't take being a famous person with access to the president to be able to get your family out of an unfair sentence. setting free one person is bullshit and means almost nothing. do something about the problem. also doing something nice for a black person doesn't prove you're not racist

So apparently we are an 8 minute taxi ride from Kim Jong Un’s hotel and a 16 minute taxi ride from Donald Trump’s.

Meanwhile, fried chicken powerhouse KFC, probably still the #1 fried chicken vendor in the little red dot, despite facing stiff competition from Popeye’s and JinJia Chicken, is offering a peace meal deal. But only for Kim and Trump.

Considering hunting down some other meal deal. Lots of kimchi being made this week.

you mean besides spend billions of dollars and come out for reforms like reducing the sentencing disparity between crack and powder cocaine that (still) unfairly targets black people for worse sentences for the same crimes (but not as badly anymore)

I have been checking Trump’s twitter feed for updates because I’m curious to see what he says about Singapore. I’m surprised and disturbed to find myself agreeing with him about trade and protecting local workers with tariffs on imports.

Obviously I’m unsure about the leader of any country publishing their views on trade, and personal opinions via twitter. And forming trade agreements diplomatically is the job of national leaders, and it’s an embarrassing failure for him to ignore that responsibility and take to Twitter.
