*Fun fact*

I was drunkenly gonna get my Saul Goodman bobblehead from the box and pose it as the centerpiece for the picture, but I never opened it before. I just have it displayed in the original Breaking Bad packaging, but I thought I could take it out for one instance, but it's so tightly packed that I just gave up after 20 seconds.

You're right that it's not that vintage, but I was late to the Breaking Bad phenomenon. When I got the Saul bobblehead it was half priced at HMV.... Years after the fact of BB but before Better Call Saul. I had just gotten into the show and was stoked to find it so cheap. I paid 9.99. And it's got this extravagant box. Full BB logo, one complete side panel of Odenkirk posing as Saul... It's really an awesome piece... FUCK... I SHOULD HAVE POSTED IT FOR THIS THREAD.

The last HMV in my area closed 10 months ago...

I have literally no place to go if I wanna order a CD at a brick and mortar shop...

Now all the Toys R Us are closing... Can you imagine? All toy stores are gonna be shut down...

WHERE'S THE GLORY FOR THE CHILDREN!?!?!

The beauty of being a kid is walking into one of these massive stores and being surrounded by toys... You dream about owning them all... No little kids are supposed to get that thrill by browsing for toys on www.amazon.com.

It's a shame... A damn fucking shame.

I agree. It's a shame. And it's unfortunate. I'm afraid it's just downhill from here. IQs shall decrease with each passing generation. I used to LOVE going to toy stores.

I took my (~5 y/o) cousin to a toy store recently. He had literally no interest. He was just playing with a tablet, while I was kicking ass at air hockey. I was genuinely sad.

IQs actually increase with each new generation. it's called the flynn effect and it's why IQ tests are adjusted pretty often

no but I have some on female christian dogpiling. not pretty, either!

I learned that it's an artform and also a beloved hobby when a bunch of girls from an all-girls (duhuh!) catholic school switched to our school.
