Yeah, "charged" was definitely the wrong word, and I realized it as soon as you replied. Definitely just stupidity from me in that regard, no other way to explain it.

I don't know how you saw that as me rationalizing. There are few differences between these people you call "evil" and other people, as far as looking at their brain structure. There are some differences, but nothing so major as to be 'aha! there is the killer gene/area of atrophy/malfunctioning part'. I don't like the word evil and think it is simplistic, but I agree that people who find pleasure in hurting/killing others for no reason but it's amusing are different than most people, and they know it is wrong, and deserve to be in prison.

I only want to justify their behavior in regards to changing it or stopping it, and in that regard we need to understand it. Rationalizing why these people exist is not the same as saying what they did is OK, or they are just mentally ill so it's not their fault, or anything like that.

the triad is usually bed wetting, fire starting, and animal abuse

i buy that it is associated with antisocial individuals, yes. i also definitely believe early head trauma, blunt force or at birth, or from fetal alcohol syndrome etc, probably is causal to some degree for some people

bottom line is there is more than one road to psychopathy, and most of them do not go through this entire triad, although some do and many have one of them. but so do many kids who end up fine. it is probably associated with a greater risk for further antisocial behavior but i wouldn't go past that

I just skimmed through a book called 'Evil Incarnate'. By some harvard dude. Manson didn't exhibit the same physiological traits that are found in other serial killers. That is a fact and not me "making shit up". Hell, the situation itself is even completely different from the typical serial killer. Manson had a motive, as twisted and delusional as it may have been.

Evil is anyone who enjoys causing harm to a living thing for no or irrational reasons.

A lot of humans are just shitty people. It doesn't have to be a result of some scientific explanation.
