Well, I mean, I do notice a discernible difference, even when I'm crossing over into Cloverdale or the Tacoma area. Americans seem more angry and keep to themselves. Canadians a lot of the time really are overly friendly and ridiculous, which sounds kind of cool but it's all a charade... I notice this difference while I'm in grocery stores. People in the states are just more standoffish. And there is a lot less multiculturalism, but as a result there's a distinguished American culture that you can feel. I think it's cool... Even though I don't necessarily prefer one over the other.

I've just grown up on American culture though, so It feels cool to be out there experiencing it.. Even if Seattle is really not all that different from Vancouver...

I really wanna go and visit Texas. It's next on my bucket list.

well I mean, shit, you really should come and visit Vancouver.. Even my place of residence, it's just a total melting pot... I'm actually seeing more and more Muslims too. All of my encounters with them have been absolutely lovely and they've seemed like the most pleasant people though. It has me maybe second guessing some of the stuff I've spouted over the years. But you look around the world and these extremists are causing a lot of hell. So it's a complicated issue.

I see all these little girls running around playing with the head things on, and just having a blast and it is really nice to see.

This is amazing coming from you, but it's not complicated. Some people are assholes and some are not. It makes no difference what religious or racial group you are talking about. Assuming that extremism is a defining characteristic of Islam is obviously stupid and false to all of us who have actually met and interacted with a significant amount of Muslims, or who actually bother to learn anything about Islam or the Islamic world.

Yeah exactly, I'm talking about like maybe 3 muslim families that I've recently conversed with, so it's a meaningless sample size. But to me they seemed legitimately thrilled to be a part of the community

I guess it must be differences in how they interpret the Core-arn or something.

lol. It's mainly Sharia law over there. They've based their actual laws on the Quran. 1 man = 2 women and such. Plus, there's a lot of terrorism around those regions. I don't think it'll end anytime soon. Sucks.
