He's so fucking good. Elegant touch to dropping thunder bombs. Although it makes sense technically, it's amazing that he is a premiere alt rock drummer

So the Complex did a little release concert day in Chicago, two concerts in L.A.; but will they do other gigs following?
You have to doubt, as the recordings with the Smashing Pumpkins continue and not much time is left between them and the rehearsals for the summer tour of the Pumpkins.

Last show in LA tonight!

They actually did three shows in LA. I got to talk to the band a little at the second show (at Fingerprints Music in Long Beach). Apparently they wanted to do a West Coast tour, hitting Yoshi's in Oakland after the Blue Whale then up through Portland and Seattle. But for various reasons the Yoshi's show didn't pan out and all the venues they wanted to play in the Pacific Northwest were booked way out. So instead they did the Fingerprints and Resident shows. It didn't sound like they're headed anywhere else in the short term, but who knows.
