Politics will always favor antisocial people. I am mixed about Franken. Obviously compared to basically every other scandal right now his is the least terrible. But we should strive for people clean enough to not worry about past indiscretions. If sexually predatory behavior is not a line one cannot cross without fear of their career being over, maybe we weed out the most terrible ones. I don't know, it's complicated. But the idea that someone like Roy Moore will still get a significant amount of votes and maybe even still win is fucking ridiculous.

He is not going to be impeached for what he did unless there is video proof or something. Even then, people would somehow excuse it. But come on, he's not just a womanizer. He described sexual assault. There are more than a dozen women accusing him of assault, including his ex-wife even though she took it back - after describing what was clearly sexual assault. Every single other person who has had accusers has faced a backlash. Lost their job, stepped down, approval ratings tanked, shunned by own party, and/or made a statement. But not the president.

Even then, I don't see how claims in one person's book can be taken as a confirmation of anything. Unless Brazile provided sufficient detail to support The Omega Concern's assurances that Clinton was "certainly ill" and suffering from Parkinson's and/or a "[brain] tumor or worse," including speculation that it had already killed her in September of 2016 and a month later that she "has a team of handlers literally holding her up and at the ready with auto-injector diazepam shots . . . just trying to get her across the finish line to hand it to Kaine early on," you've said nothing of any substance at all. Do you still support these bold statements as to her physical well-being, today?
