I don't buy into conspiracy theories often, but I am 100% with you on this one. This definitely reeks of Weinstein flexing what little muscle he has left to shut her up/make an example. Go watch the documentary Overnight. It's about Troy Duffy, the director of The Boondock Saints. The whole thing is about what an insufferable douchebag Duffy is (I can't remember if they get into how stupid the movie is) and how it ruined his career and subsequent working relationship with Harvey and Bob before it even began. It all culminates in Duffy nearly getting run over on a sidewalk by a hit-man who is widely believed to have been hired by the Weinsteins.

I was honestly not the least bit surprised about Cosby. The ones who are always the most preachy and self-righteous usually turn out to be complete shitbags behind the curtain.

Yeah, looks like the comedian that people interpreted as accusing CK wasn't intending to at all. There are still rumours pre-existing that affair that CK likes to wank in front of helpless women, but no actual victims have come forward, so there's no evidence.

I felt similar about Whedon. He's not a sex abuser, so I'm not putting him in the same category as Cosby, Weinstein, Spacey, etc., but he's an adulterer who took advantage of his wife's trust. I can only imagine how fucked up that would be at 13. But then, Haim goes back to Sheen for another tryst and...gets rejected by him. That must of fucked him up just as bad I suppose, but in a whole other way.
