Hey man, I get where you're coming from. Although I kind of get where Took is coming from too. Whenever I tell someone to listen to a band, and they say they've listened to and liked their music, I'm usually a little paranoid that they don't actually like the band and are just saying they like it in order to not tick me off. Although I don't think you've the same issue, I really doubt if you give a fuck about ticking him off haha.

Sometimes Took says paranoid or seemingly deluded things but honestly I don't know when he is being serious. I strongly suspect a lot of what we know about Took is his persona. Regardless, acting nutty is not why people gang up on you, fuzzy. If you were just some eccentric weirdo collector dude, you would be better received here. I've said it like 3 times now, but I think you are purposely missing what is being pointed out to you as to why people respond to you the way they do. It's not because you are weird.

Yes people pile on you for all sorts of stuff, but like I said, you make it easy when you piss everyone off over things like racism and transphobia, then lecture others on relationships and drugs. So why wouldn't people pick you apart the same way, over stupid stuff? My point is that is not WHY people react to you the way they do. People don't hound Took over his belief that the supermarket bag boy is turning the whole store against, to put it plainly, because he is a lot less offensive in general.

Whether it's purposeful or a subconscious drive for attention or punishment or what, you have a penchant for doing and saying what will most offend whoever you are talking to, and then instead of being humble and validating the feelings of others and trying to learn and grow your perspective, you just double down on the bullshit over and over.

i really am losing a grip on dealing with people. i think it is connected with what happened at the hotel and goodwill. i know it is mainly my fault (for trying to get involved with yesenia) but they fucked. with my head so hard i can barely tell affection from scorn anymore. i suspect everyone and see malice in everything.

i am sorry fuzzy. this has been happening for a while. when i first met teh bolly for example and he told me to check out cocteau twins i was sure he was mocking me and my love of shoegaze which was totally wrong.

fuzzroes brings up valid points about the amount of education and who's better off. RBG assumes a formal education is the only worthy one, thought its not, and yet his entire point is based on this presumed fallacy of more education equals better off or smarter or whatever.

Reprise85 mentions going for an advanced degree and the commensurate debt load involved. How smart is that? That's a case by case thing and it's an admirable commitment, but is it advisable for most? That's a fair point fuzzy brings up and shouldn't have to be mocked for it by self-anointed intellectuals who presume it because of their education level.

i don't think fuzzy is stupid for not getting a degree. you can make great money working a trade, or even just working at a grocery store is not the most terrible thing ever. it's the stupid things he says that are racist, sexist, demeaning, etc that bother me. it's the doubling down on shit just to save face instead of admitting he said something dumb. it's the lack of perspective that his experiences are not universal and his 'wisdom' is 'truth'. because i believe in a lot of cases he just doesn't realize how harmful any of this is.

It's disconcerting to me that people would be so lost in their souls so as to lean on the opinion of those who say they should make a choice to ignore their biological nature. This is different than not conforming to norms (a transvestite as an example), but demanding biology itself be cast aside and demand jail to those who do not address them according to their wishes as opposed to their biological sex as determined by chromosomes.




The disgust comes in the education realm as well, where growing pockets of administrators are disseminating transexual curriculum to children as young as kindergarten. I applaud the pediatricians and psychologist who call this child abuse.

I could tell someone confused about their sexuality, that they already made their choice and would be better off living with it because if you renege on it in this life, it ain't going to so well for you in the next one.

Now maybe I'm wrong, or maybe I'm right, but the real point is, so too could be the spiritual opinion they are inherently getting when encouraged to deny their chromosomal attachment to sexuality. Ergo, its a debate within that person and they should avail themselves to more opinions than the one that denies them among the most basic of scientific conclusions ever established.


I'm repulsed not by the person who's confused, but by those who wish to persuade them to crossover and possibly condemning them to an ill-spiritual fate that may take a few lifetimes to overcome.

I would have actual compassion for such a person and try to make them see their spirit in a more clear manner, so they can better realize the choice they may have already made and to live with it. Those trying to do the opposite are the real abusers, but that's just my opinion and I'm free to have it.
