I knew this guy on a Toronto Blue Jays message board who was a guard at a prison, and he'd brag about how he just sits on the computer on the message board, dicking around for most of his shift and some guy tracked down his place of employment, sent all the messages with the proof that linked him to the account and he got fired on the spot.
