what's great is when you give two weeks at a job and then they don't give you hours. like i waited two weeks to start my new job because i didn't want to leave you high and dry and you just fucked me out of two weeks pay for doing the right thing. this happened to me at me at my first ever job and it pissed me off good.

The problem is that the people who are very eager and have no problems whatsoever with getting benefits and even misrepresenting themselves to get benefits will do so, and the ones who suffer because they are too proud are the ones that unemployment is meant for will try not to use it. So there's this misconception that the only people who use welfare are people gaming the system or using it when they may not actually need it when in fact the vast majority of people are not gaming the system. It's not a handout when you paid into it, btw
