I'm an old-fashion kind of a guy. If sleeping around with people left and right with no desire for a commitment is your steeze then so be it. I couldn't care less. But I (as well as most other Netphorians) believe that your little arrangement was set in place at her demand and not yours.

You don't seem all up in arms about the desire for polyamory now that that broad up and jettisoned the hell away from ya.

It worked out great. The four years we spent together were incredibly meaningful and indescribably beautiful. In some ways, this relationship is the most important thing that has happened in my life, and resulted in a huge amount of personal growth and self-discovery. We are not together anymore and our split had nothing to do with polyamory. We will always be good friends though, and we will always hold an important place in each other's hearts. By your logic, every failed monogamous relationship can be attributed to monogamy.
