yeah at my old job i listened to people complain & blame "immigrants" and obama for their terrible health, lack of foresight, total ignorance of the health care industry, welfare & social services in this country i mean i'm supposed to be empathetic but its pretty difficult to listen to poor whites in south carolina complain about not having any handouts because immigrants & obama took them all away because they don't have any personal responsibility etc

Never been on welfare in my life actually or had any government handouts. I probably should have because growing up it was clear to family that I had a mental illness ( I used to be crippled by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) but I underwent cognitive behavioral therapy, and worked my ass off at it, and now just get drunk all of the time and it hardly affects me anymore.

I have a gutterpunk buddy, hated work, prison tattoos all over himself, couldn't get hired very many places if he tried so he claimed that he was crazy. And some government worker came to evaluate him and he was talking about how he was hallucinating and couldn't stop (and his bandmates were there to verify this) and so now he's just funded from money coming in from the government for faking being mentally ill.

I don't hate on it all, I'd probably have an easier life if I milked the system too, but just so you guys know, I've never taken a government cent...

Yeah man, and it's kind of sad when I type it out like that and consider what I'm saying. And it's probably an unsustainable solution, but even when I'm sober I feel miles away from the mindset that I had as a young adult. Keeping mentally stimulated is the major key. And even though I drink too much, I'm still an avid reader and hands on type of guy.

I just bought a couple of hard to find soccer patches on Ebay. Very happy with the purchase.

I just bought a few very cool vintage 'Oregon' lapel pins on Etsy. I find Etsy a lot better for some curio type accessories. I found some very cool vinyl car window stickers on Etsy too. I ordered a couple of Smiths stickers for a friend of mine who just bought a new car.
