a muslim is the person who practices islam. muslim is not a religion. if you don't even know something so basic, it's safe to say you know nothing about the religion.

learn for yourself before you parrot ideas you hear. islam actually encourages education among men and women and let women participate in the church long before christians did. "christians" and "muslims" have both become bastardized words because violent people hide behind them and that violence constantly fuels itself. and it starts with beliefs like yours.
