I said 80% of adult gamers... But more accurately I should say 90% of adult gamers over the age of 30. Cause it's more normal for people to still be into games and such throughout their early 20's, but usually by the time a man or womans into their 30's they find better time management than to be stuffing their face with cheetohs with their headsets on on their Play-Station 7's

My brother's ex-wife stopped working when he had enough of an income to pay all their bills and save for holidays etc. she spent all day on this thing called twitch, where she met a guy who played the same games as her and eventually left my brother, and had the other guy come and visit from NY.

She is really fat now and has terrible teeth because she is addicted to coke. It was a blessing in disguise for my brother, really. Thank god they didn't have kids.

He likes games, too - he played a lot when they were in their twenties, but doesn't anymore. My husband has boys night on satursay evenings, and he and my brother, and my kids, all game and eat nachos, or watch violent action movies together.

I wish they watched sport but they're not into those kinds of games, unless it's cricket or the bledisloe.


Today:
Played organ/piano at church. It wasn't my best performance, but it wasn't my worst, either. Cringe score 3/5. Got to play hyfrydol.

Video games are designed to keep the consumers in a trance, a zombie-like state where they're totally engulfed in all of the bells and whistles and the "perceived" advancements that the program offers.

They're actually exactly like slot-machines. Which is why I avoid those like the plague. Cause you sit down, and you're engulfed in it all and you don't realize that you're pissing away money. Same thing happens with videogames, but instead of wasting money,you're pissing away your valuable time.... And lord knows we only live once.

A guy being too much of a nerd on any one area means he'll become boring to interact with pretty quick. It's not exclusive to video games.

Actually nowadays i've come to find video game nerds to be more tolerable than music snobs, since those will usually come with a ton of restrictions like "meh, I don't wanna go to this party the music will be lame waaah" "I don't wear shorts waaah"...

Took the kids up to the park to shoot hoops and hunt for gen 2 pokes. I was playing with the younger one and a couple of high school boys asked if we wanted to play 2 on 2. I was wearing a dress, leggings and Birkenstocks, but you know, whatever. I gotta rack up accomplishments for this thread, so I said yes.
