I actually created a Whiplr account to check out what it's like. But I ended up not even using it for several reasons

• Most of the women are subs looking for doms, and I'm more interested in switch and keeping things mostly equal

I guess I wasn't really intending to use the app just to find some casual sex. That's probably true. Seventy per cent of the dudes on that thing seemed really suspect. I dunno, I know that everybody's got a different thing, but it just seems weird for a dude's entire sexuality to be based on wanting to control women.

In my experience that scenario doesn't come up much. You generally grow with a pardner and become more willing to experiment because of the growth in intimacy and trust. More important than the few sexual kinks and fetishes you may want to try is compatibility. Those that base their entire personalities around sexual hangups (creepy stuff like wanting to control a woman like you said) are usually creepy irl. I can only speak for myself and my experience. That being said, Mike and I met with the intention of being casual sex partners but stayed because we connected over Hitchcock movies instead.
