run2me i am not well-read at all. i only had an english minor in college. had to take extra classes and shit in grad school. so i am not much of an authority on books. but i love lists and ranking stuff. so here goes (keep in mind my modernist/postmodernist stuff is just about non-existant.

best english novel: heart of darkness
best english poem: paradise lost

best american novel: scarlett letter/the old man and the sea
best american poem: annabel lee

but the best shit ever is too be found among the plays of the immortal bard and amidst the verses of the 1611 kjv. sorry to be so conventiinal and traditional but those two are the best.


but my fav shit is fantasy. here are my top 10 fantasy books.

1. The Worm Ouroboros
2. The Silmarillion
3. The Tombs of Atuan
4. Dune
5. Watership Down
6. The Left Hand of Darkness

also sorry but i've never seen a cake like that in my life. don't worry i am a psuedo serb. my parents are sda so in some ways (especially diet) they are more "western" than yugo. and my mom is a mechanical engineer so she isn't exactly a gourmet cook.
