You sound very similar to me. If I drank more than that I would puke, regardless. I have a three drink maximum. I think it's because as a high schooler I was a terrible binge drinker - my friend and I split a 40 ounce bottle of rum once, it was carnage. So I sometimes wonder if my liver sustained permanent damage because by the time I was 19, I couldn't drink more than 3 standard drinks without puking, and I was drunk after 2.

But after securing a steady source of weed (which is way harder in NZ than it is in the U.S., where people just come up and offer it to you) I didn't drink a lot.

I drank absinthe while high on dxm though and then smoked weed on top of that, at an outdoor rave that was taking place in a cave. I was actually never the same after that.

I never did dxm again, it just fucked me up too much. And I'd tried everything before then - crack, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, mushrooms, but nothing fucked me up as hard as dxm. I actually passed out on the road outside my friend's house, and woke up in an ambulance.

Apparently I was vomited up the robitussin while unconscious and in the recovery position, and in my friend's fucked up state he thought it was blood because it was red.

I was still fucked the next day when we drank absinthe and went to the rave, where we smoked and did nitrous oxide. My brain has never really been the same.

I used to abuse dxm. That's a big reason why I got into so much trouble.

I can't do it anymore (praise him). My body developed a weird psychological barrier or something.. I throw up dxm on the spot. Can't keep it down.
