I'm not the person you asked, but if you like logic, then the statements:

There is no god.

and

If there somehow was, there's no reason to think it would give a shit about moral or immoral behaviour.

Are logically irreconcilable.

like:

1. Not(A)

And

2. If (A) then (B).

Premise 2 in this argument is unnecessary, because (A) can not be satisfied if premise 1 is true.

Having said that, the conditional could contain an enthymeme, a syllogism with an unstated premise:

(A1) "A god would not give a shit about human behaviour".

So the conditional would have an extra antecedent.

If (A) and (A1) then (B).

Not that any of this matters if - Not(A).

Yes, none of it matters because Not(A). However, my point with the second statement is to challenge the human idea that a God would care for human things if such a God did exist. We are very egocentric in our vision of God.

I moved to Eugene Oregon in this past year. Working in a new industry but still software. I started a group called funeral brunch with a friend. It's a noise thing. I am building a modular synthesizer. It has been a tough year but a nice change. I have a lot to say about stuff. I am sick today. Eugene is really beautiful place.

Platanus occidentalis: Up to 100 ft and sometimes more. Very tall tree. Fast growers, enjoy water. Faciliative wetland and riparian species. Very variable growth form/prone to adventitious growth. Fairly long-lived despite its fast growth. I do not know what the quality of wood is like.
