what are yous guyses thoughts on shorts? should grown men wear shorts? are they for little boys only? or is there no shame in donning shorts to beat the heat? what do you think?

1. you waste a lot of energy/water washing one set of clothes every day instead of a load once a week
2. you're lucky you have a wash/dryer in your place or building or w/e. i have to go to the laundromat

I usually wear jeans ~5 times before washing. Maybe that is too many wears but they are hardy and don't get visibly dirty very quickly. Right now I'm down to one nice pair of blue jeans. I have like 4 other pairs that all have holes in the knees.

i wear jeans until they start to sag on my butt and i gotta pull them up constantly. i get about a good 3-5 wears out of my them. the former when i'm perioding cause ew.

I usually wear mine 2 times right now because it's hot as fuck out and crotch sweat is real. i'm super paranoid about having an odor. plus most of my jeans are shitty and thin. the one good pair i have will get 3-4 wears. i much prefer to wear pants that aren't jeans though and those get 2 wears max

Shorts are a summer must. Unless you're at an event indoors or something.

I never wear shorts, but that's just because I'm not comfortable in them. I don't think there's anything wrong with them as a rule. So long as the fit is nice, they're fine. I mean, there's a big difference between

I only wash my clothes when they get visibly dirty or odorous. I don't want them to fade or wear out. I tend to hang-dry shirts and jumpers, because men's medium is usually just the right size for me, but not after it shrinks in the dryer.

this is excluding work, though. i probably wouldn't show up for work in shorts.
i have a couple of basketball-ish mesh shorts, which i just wear when idgaf, and nice dockers-style shorts for when i need to look my best (which is still pretty bad lololo!). i have also recently acquired two pairs or teal and yellow shorts.

but the yellow one rocks. i wore it yesterday and felt people were checking out my ass.

i don't get why anyone would do it any other way. i used to be one of those people who wears something once and automatically tosses it in the laundry bin, but now i barely wash my clothes at all. thankfully, i'm naturally a person with very little odor (unless it's hotter than kate upton outside) so i can wear a particular item for as many as 7-10 times before it doesn't smell nice anymore.
my clothes never really get visibly dirty, but as soon as they do i wash them by hand or put them in the machine. don't use dryers though, fellas. it abuses your clothes and crumbles them. just hang them out to dry.
