i deadlifted 30 kg at the gym this morning. 3 sets of 15. the palms of my hand couldn't take anymore.

i have lifting gloves, but i've yet to use them. i'm a little self-conscious about looking so hardcore.

30 kg what is that like 60-70 pounds? Geez I exercised yesterday too but for me that is walk for 30 minutes and do some kind of flexibility improving stretches. Small fitness goals mmmyep

how much resistance you got? i can't go too high on those cause i get bored and am not motivated to pump hard unless i am riding on a road with the wind at my face and scenery moving past. i only use them for warming up if i've walked to the gym. i did see a snazzy old one at the thrift store i would have purchased if i had a garage or some junk.

anyway, 3 miles is a huge increase, y0. give yourself a treat.

i think i always use a mixed grip when i deadlift. i'm not sure, but i know i did today. i'm getting little calluses inside my hand like some sort of animal.

New chat thread... I guess I'll post some news here then. I'm getting married in October. I'm also planning to move back to South Dakota so I can volunteer more time there.
