the media keeps saying that Trump appeals to "working class voters" as a way of avoiding saying that trump appeals to racist white people, mostly men.

the guy has spend hardly any money on media for his campaign because every news organization spends countless hours talking about him, covering what he's saying, etc etc.

That isn't a universal truth, it's a flawed aspect of the U.S. criminal justice system.

No 41 year old whose legal representative laughs about them passing a polygraph and then states she'll never trust a polygraph again, should be able to avoid an appropriate sentence for raping a 12 year old, simply because their representative was better qualified to manipulate the legal system than that representing the victim.

That's the system you have. The decisions people make within that system, is what makes it the shitty mess it is today.

It is preferable to a system that convicts non-criminals more frequently

Better to have 10 rapists get off free than for 1 innocent man to spend a single day in jail

Pretty sure the fact that the U.S. incarcerates more of its adult population than any other country in the world, would indicate that your criminal justice system returns plenty of false positives, as well as letting off surefire rapists. Nice one!

Believing in a fair trial is not the same as doing your best to help a 41 year old avoid legal consequences for raping a 12 year old.
