i remember it being a ruthless depiction of two hysterical blue eyed whitegirls who are supposed to pass as mom/daughter (which they don't - obvious influence from porn. i keep waiting for the pizza guy) who babble relentlessly and without stopping from before the opening sequence and after the end credits roll

someone of my FB brilliantly pointed out that the guy who plays Tommen Baratheon is basically Rory Gilmore with a penis though

Gilmore Girls was a great show until the last 2 seasons.

the same old boring thing i hear about why people don't like it is the way the two main characters, mother and daughter, both speak quickly.

I watched the whole series back in the day, had a girlfriend who was obsessed with it and I actually found it quite charming. A lot of the recurring minor characters were great. I mean her best friend was in a band with Sebastian Bach for crying out loud!

I'm not sure how well it would hold up for me now though.

Have you tried watching it? It's really well written, the characters are great, the dialogue is very sharp. It would be Whedon-esque if there were some sort of sci-fi or supernatural element to it.

Lifehack #121232: How to duplicate text

1. Select the text you want by putting your cursor over it (it should turn from a pointer to an "I-beam"), clicking, and dragging across it. Make sure all the text you want is highlighted in blue, like when you highlight words in a real book to remember them.
   
   
2. With more cursor over the text, click with the right mouse button. This will open up a pop-up menu. Scroll down to "copy." Left click on it.
   
   
3. Go to the text field (while box) you want to put the words in. Click in it. You should see a blinking cursor. Right click, and select "paste."
   
   Finished! You have duplicated the text!
   
   For advanced users, instead of right clicking and selecting "copy" and "paste" from the pop-up menu after you highlight the text you want, go to your keyboard and press CTRL and C at the same time, and CTRL and V at the same time, respectively. This should make duplicating text even faster!

But then you're going to have to spend time deleting all the unnecessary text, unless you decide to copy certain parts line by line. Either way its seems like a hassle. Thats 8 lines of text, which over half will be deleted. Time is money, bro.
