Lol come on man, I hope you're trying to be ironic or something. Nirvana was a great band. I think people just sour on them because they've been propelled to legendary status which is admittedly undeserved.

I rented their Live at Reading 92 performance last night, and goddamn, those guys brought the energy live. As much as people bag on the guy; Dave Grohl was intense and really helped bring that Nirvana aesthetic to a top level. Too bad the guys not drumming anymore.

As for Hole: Live through this is pretty sweet and has some great tracks, but everything else is rubbish... Aside from like 3 tracks on Celebrity Skin. I found the Hole "reunion" disc at Value Village a month back and goddamn, it's terrible.

People say musics all subjective, but I don't believe that's entirely true. And besides, Kurt wrote Live Through This. It's like saying a Beach Boys cover band is a better band than the Beach Boys or something... It just doesn't compute.
