Sorry Elph but you in prison is actually enough material to write a TV show out of.

"So those guys are the Nuestra Familia, over there is where the United Blood Nation hang out, and those dudes are the Aryan Nation. They might be your best bet for protection. Any questions?"

"Yeah where are the Post-Punkers? I don't really get into rap music cause I'm not from the streets"

Yes. In January the parole board members were actually prepping him to get out for the first time. Got his social security card in order- stuff like that. They moved him to a medium security prison leading up to his parole hearing. There is a 3 member voting system. One member votes, it gets passed to the second. If they vote differently it goes to a third, tie breaking, member. The first member voted yes, the second member voted no. It went to the third member who talked to the victim. Victim said he didn't feel safe knowing he was on the streets (16 years old...25 years ago...'i forgive him. i feel he has served enough time...') so the third member voted no.

End up listening to fucking Tubular Bells and Pet Sounds a million times I'd RATHER be gang raped and shanked.
Um, sorry I view music the same way I view say literature

There are important albums just like there are important books

Given nothing else to do I'd want to hear everything good the medium has to offer

But this is what I mean, if you only follow the stuff that's deemed "important" by other people, you'll miss a vast majority of the stuff that nobody's ever heard of that can personally bring you just as much joy as albums deemed worthy to be on some Quietus list.

Sorry Bahnzah we'll not hijack your thread with this argument.

Well I didn't mean important to mean whatever is on a Quetus list or whatever

Just as much as I could discover

yea same.

so with the premise that we'd get family members to hook us up with stuff, I'd take up drug dealing. only chance to be maybe left alone.
Likely I'd try to get accepted by the aryan bully crowd that way. and I'd do drugs myself, no doubt.

other than that - library.

i've been watching a lot of murder mystery docs lately... always thinking if i found myself convicted i'd tell my lawyer to fight tooth and nail for the death penalty. much preferable... though the process is so timely it may as well be 25 to life anyway

you'd prefer to be executed over just offing yourself in prison?

well if we're talking lethal injection it seems preferable to jury rigging a noose out of pillow cases or whatever. i have a feeling i'd suck at killing myself... much of the reason i'm still here

when I'm in a gym and see these weights dangling over my head, I wonder if it would be instant death if you just drop that shit in the right angle.... on your throat, or something.

plan b - insult the "wrong" inmate - you'd be dead within a day, hurray!

Noose is probably more reliable and quicker if you know how to do it right. Don't you remember how the last few lethal injections have gone??

Plus it's not a very dignified way to die... swaying from a pipe with a pile of feces underneath you.

A new kid at his school and he ran away. They stole a truck which had a pistol in the glove box. They took a bunch of booze from the other kid's house and drove up to Dallas. After a day of drinking they were driving around and got pulled over. While being questioned he freaked out, pulled the gun from his waistband, and shot him. The bullet hit just below the kevlar vest and shattered his spine.

There used to be several newspaper scans you could find from the incident and trials but they are more difficult now.

wait so the cop got injured, but not life threatening, right.

yet a 16 year old drunk got 25 to life for all of that?

interesting stuff, these legal differences. Breivik got 21 years (to life) for murdering 77 people...

I know someone who married a lifer and I have no idea how she does it. The prison is not only his life, but her's too. They have been married two years and when she goes to see him she is only allowed a couple of brief hugs, a bit of hand holding and a kiss. No conjugal visitations.

i'd like to think this is the kind of lifer i'd be. what are the logistics behind earning a degree behind bars? what kind of degrees does he have? what was the awarding institution?

also, what kinds of shots in the mouth? money shots?
