From what I can remember the Rally's/Checkers Big Buford is/was amazing. I rememver the old ads of a basketball player eating it and spilling it all over his new sneakers. the slogan was "if it doesn't get all over the place, it doesn't belong in your face."

quizno's is alright but they all seemed to shut down overnight

i'll level that there are certainly better subs, just like there are obv better coffees than starbucks & the main reason people go is cos there's one around every corner. but still, get a spicy italian with onions, chipotle, & a coupla other choice ingredients? don't tell me that's bad, you are just wrong

I ate at Culvers today and I was not ashamed because butter burgers and I was in Milwaukee for work with other people from my office and I basically had no choice. But it was good

It does. I have no idea how anyone can stomach walking in one or actually eating anything.

A simple rule I have is never to eat a sandwich at a place without a meat slicer.

NJ has so many sub places that idk why anyone would go to subway. At least here.

While in Australia, I dreamt of sub sandwiches. I went to subway in Gordon and they didn't have oil and vinegar as a topping

I worked at Subway in Wellington and we had oil and vinegar there. And a meat slicer out the back. And half the job was prepping veggies to go in the cabinet. I dunno if it's still like that though. As a vegan, a foot long veggie sub with no cheese and oil and vinegar dressing for $4.95 was pretty good.

And yeah the smell...but they all do that. I think kfc is the worst.

though i will say, when they take too long between changing the lettuce, that can be pretty offensive to the taste buds

even though it's mostly bullshit subway is "healthy" it did help me change my eating habits. it was sort of my training wheels when i was trying to lose weight

as for fast food jack in the crack was my go to hangover food. whataburger also filled this purpose (rip trots)

pizza... people shitting on pizza chains are like beer snobs. subjective and all, but pretty much all of them are good. papa john's is my favorite because of the bread, but that's just my preference. dominos is great with their online customization thingy. another fantastic hangover cure... you can barely get out of bed, so just make the greasiest pizza possible and have it delivered. pizza hut has great deep dish, but it's probably the lower tier chain. the little ceasers $5 pizza is a steal
