I was at my favourite music store today. Someone with a young child, maybe about 2 years old =, was browsing through CD bins and actually sat his kid down on top of all the CDs, letting him pull shit out and play with it. He did this at every CD bin that he looked through. This seemed to somewhat pacify the child when he wasn't being carried around, screaming and crying.

children/college stdents who call me as a shortcut to doing their own homework/research. thankfully new rules let me tell them to use google and show them where certain things are on our website. once this california girl got snappy with me talkin bout how convenient that was for me and i was being unhelpful. i reminded her that this was a free service to assist cancer patients and their families and i was not her research assistant. pretty glad that call wasnt recorded lol

i've been having to ride it lately, and i assumed that "time stops" exist so that the bus doesn't arrive earlier than expected at any of the stops in between.

ie. Bus is scheduled to leave timestop #1 at #:15
Same bus is schedule to leave timestop #2 at #:30

If i'm at a local stop that's between timestops #1 and #2, I should theoretically be guaranteed to catch said bus if I'm at that stop at #:15. I see buses leaving timestops as much as ten minutes early. if it's an hourly bus I am fucked.
