i was never spanked until my mom remarried. i haaated my stepdad for hitting me, disrupting our lives, and making me call him sir for it. i love him now and i began calling him dad at 17, but he needed to chill the fuck out.

once i came home from 8th grade when i was living in the basement at the time so i had a separate window a/c unit from the rest of the home. i was supposed to turn it off every morning but i forgot that day and my mom warned me on the drive he was mad and i would be in trouble. sure as shit he opens the front door to us and the first thing he does spit beer in my face raising his fist at me calling me girl and stuff. he sent me to my room telling me to leave the air off even though it's hot and we're in texas, but he changed his mind and yelled at me to do dishes. he got in my face again when he says i was banging the pots around to make noise on purpose, which was probs true.

my bio father did hold a gun to my mom and older brother's head in front of me when i was 7 though. our family was dunzo after that night.
