well if consenting adults who apparently can't live without porn, took responsibility for the harm that porn can cause, and made sure that it was only available to appropriate audiences, then yeah, that would help.

It's like smoking - for a long time people argued that if people didn't like it, they could go elsewhere. But actually it was so ubiquitous that nobody was really able to do that.
