As for the local and organic shit that's just society wide, including at grocery stores.

And I think style matters when dining out. Not a ton, but no need to be intentionally ugly. If food is bad places don't generally last.

This seems like fuzzy whining about hipster music. Made even weirder by the fact that slunken is the biggest hipster here.

for me the issue is that they are phony trendy shit but if they attract white yups that think interior decoration is important and are perfectly happy paying four dollars for a small "bahn mi" taco, well by all means then i dont have to see them ordering artisnal bacon infused mojitos

well, slunken mentioned earlier that these sorts of establishments are popping up in areas undergoing gentrification, and that is definitely the case in halifax. and there's been news articles recently interviewing the owners of these places that are perplexed that the local blacks and natives aren't patronizing their establishments. in the interest of inclusiveness they are considering walking down the streets and handing out flyers to let all the darkies know that they are welcome at their restaurant. i'm sure all the folks in the nearby pubic housing know your place exists, they just can't afford it, retards, and even if they could they most definitely wouldn't be interested in that shit anyway.

T has been in this neighborhood forever so I take some ownership of it. I
Feel like anyone who was in the 'hood pre-revolution brewing can claim that. But also who cares? Revolution is great and there is still a lot of affordable housing around.

Because this city is great.

Until this becomes wicker park. But I think it'll be a while before that happens.
