when we first got together i told my husband not to tell anyone that SK was his favourite author. it embarrassed me. but now i'm over it. that was 10 years ago, i was young and insecure.
i just can't read them because they have such disappointing, unsatisfying, random endings. my husband doesn't care about that because he's into character development and scene setting whereas i like plot driven whodunnit type novels. just different tastes. one of my favourite authors of all time is Jonathan Kellerman and his favourite author is Stephen King. I'm no longer such an awful snob that I think SK is a bad writer. I just don't personally enjoy his work. |
