Pizze.

For Italian, words ending in o become i and words ending in a become e. E becomes i. The article also changes. So you would say "Le pizze sono caldi."

Traces of Latin...next time I order for the table at a cafe I will make sure to ask for two cappucini and three latti, etc.

I once had someone mention the capsica they were growing and had to decline the only Latin nouns ending in -um that I knew, in my head. It was indeed an -a ending for 2 declension neuter neuter nouns, but upon further etymological investigation I discovered that the word capsicum does not in fact have a Latin root anyway. So that guy turned out to be full of it.

There used to be this Pizza place 10 minutes away from my place called Palace Pizza. It was the best. It was owned by a Middle-Eastern guy and the Pizza sauce kinda reflected that and they sold cheap samosas too.

When I was like 16 this unattractive girl that worked there loved my buddy, so we'd go there after school and she'd make us a large meat lovers pizza for free with soda included every day. It was so awesome and so good. It really kicked my love for pizza into over drive.

I miss being a kid. We seemed to get everything for free. The guy at the local movie theater let us in for free, the girls at the Ramada Inn let us use the pool for free daily. Being young is sweet.

It's true. My friend never lead her on or anything, but we kinda knew that he was the reason for her generosity.

She eventually asked him on a birthday party limo ride, and me and all my dumbass friends tried to convince him to go so we could keep the pizza gravy train rollin' but he refused. And that pretty much ended the story of the free, daily fresh cooked pizza awesomeness.

eventually the free movie gravy train ended soon after too. Dumbass friends were being loud and disruptive in the theater. The guy that ran the shitty place was like "man, I think you guys are hilarious but I can't have you coming in making trouble- you guys blew it"

you don't need to know about that stuff to make good pizza

try this: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2...gh-recipe.html

definitely get a stone, even if it's just a cheap thin one to start

It was better on the first page. The quotes are appropriately humble. Let's be honest though... that joke on a homemade pizza thread was inevitable. I'd be the Digiorno person. I have 0 skill at making homemade pizzas and I can cook like a mofo. It's like my kryptonite. I can make a quiche for fuck's sake... it makes no sense.
