This stranger asked me to take him to the truck stop. He was standing outside the grocery store about a mile or two into the city from the highway. At first I said sure, but then reconsidered and realized it was a risky thing to do. Would have been nice if I had cab fare for him but Im broke. Am I a bad person?

one time i was having a bitch of a day and after work at the pump some black guy popped out of nowhere and said yo you look like you need them handle bars. and i was like you bet i do. i forgot how much i gave him like 20 dollars or something and he threw me a ziploc bag with like 30 of them or something and drove away

I likely would not have done it. The truth is, you can't trust people anymore. And it's very sad, but that's the world we live in. You're not a bad person.

The good Samaritan also helped a guy who was obviously beaten and naked on the side of the road by carrying him back into town and helping to tend his wounds. He wasn't giving rides to shady strangers.
