I'm trying to think of something good.

NES i guess. Like pretty much every other kid this generation...it seems to not really count.

Wait i know, MCIS era SP.

Oh, also, Minecraft.

i would say cs 1.6 back in '01. that was a craze for me and something i was straight into and thought too much about. my bf introduced me to it and i became friends with his sister (geo) so i was able to sleepover a lot.

i'm an early riser and he wasn't so i could play for almost 5 hours in one sitting.

does d&d count cuz it seems lots of hipsters are doing it ironically or because creatives admit to playing it

well, from my perspective it didn't have a "craze" seems more like an ongoing thing that grows bigger and bigger.

also, masturbation.

It's not dying down though. Everybody is still doing it. It was all the rage in grade school.

I always win trivial pursuit but with the most bullshit questions. like everyone else gets the impossibly hard ones and i get the ones people might actually know. So i feel like a cheat every time.

I have to say though my trivial pusruit games are like from the early to mid 80s so the general knowledge stuff is severely outdated. It's asking you about some presidential races details from 1984 everyone forgot by now.

Random trivial fact: The game was invented by two montrealers. Not many things were invented in thsi province so i have to point it out every time, by law. Unfortunately though they were anglos. Still we got a french version pretty much right away and they called it (at least the one released here, i dont know in france) Quelques Arpent de Pieges (a few acres of traps) which is a wordplay on what Voltaire famously dismissively said of Nouvelle-France/Quebec when he saw it: quelques arpents de Neiges (a few acres of snow). Allegedly that rhymes. It still makes no sense to me as a game title. I used to find it genuinely weird when people would play it, like in the 80's. I'd be like WHY IS THIS GAME TITLE SO WEIRD AND STUPID?
