day off and we're going on a mini-mini road trip to Milwaukee, seeing a concert. And Milwaukee.
I'm curious if there are any differences I'll notice, like restaurants etc. flooded with annoyed couples, or if people actually go around all smiley-faced, carrying flowers. it's an observation day like Halloween, 4th of July, Superbowl, Thanksgiving. |

It is celebrated on June 12 where I live.
We call it "Dia dos Namorados" roughly translated to Lover's Day. But I will probably hang out with my SO in a bar or something this saturday, as usual. |

M (people refer to their SO by their initial here so why not at this point) came here the first time on feb 10th 2008 and stayed until the 15th so valentine is kinda part sorta of our anniversary but we don't tend to do anything special as that's both not really our style. Still she encouraged me to get Romados portuguese chicken cause i brought her there on the 14th in 2008 but i got up today, had some yogurt and then felt nauseated for hours. By the time it stopped it was 8pm and too late to get any. Maybe tomorrow.
Today we just gchatted and she made me answer stupid (i mean that's why she sent them) quizzes about what doctor who companion should you date and what Doctor should you date. I got Sarah Jane Smith and 11th. So the Smiths really... |
