I remember on colbert he was talking about how he came up with it because he was writing code and had to stop for meals and would kinda forget to eat and hated to have to spend time eating right... also...REALLY you're gonna name your food after a fictional food product made out of people? I guess he figured that WOULD appeal to coding nerds. |

the guy who came up with soylent is the kind of person who wears the same thing every day. someone like Mark Zuckerberg or Steve Jobs. People who have 4 pairs of the same pants, 10 of the same Tshirt and 3 of the same shirt. They view having to make daily decisions about "trivial" things like food or their clothing as a waste of time.
i've heard the guy talk in interviews about how he thinks eathing three different meals a day is time consuming and a waste of time. The irony here is that there's already a product like this. It's called Ensure. |
