Essentially 13 years. I came back for maybe a week in 2004 and again in 2007. No longer than this though. It barely counts as such. I thought it would be the same now too. Check things out, leave again. Guess not.

i.) so get a grip and learn to be more tolerant of others - or just step in line with the radicals and don't think for yourself. because, you see, i HAVE to be labeled a bigot in order for you to get your way, right now. you can't handle the idea that i'm reasonable but just disagree, because that way i have a stronger argument. so if society doesn't agree with you, demonize them and make them afraid to speak up for what they believe out of fear of legal or social consequences, and eventually in a generation or less, you hope that will work and society will have been brainwashed enough to believe that anyone who disagrees with this really is a bad person. how noble.

j.) but guess what - the joke's on you anyway, because gay marriage will never last the test of time in the cycles of human civilization. in the end, people will ultimately revert to what comes natural to most and to what is common sense to most, not idealistic notions of liberal, secular, genderless, godless "equality." so whatever victory your side gets, enjoy it while it lasts. there is no coming great liberal utopia.
